About Our Additives

Today's fuels are constantly changing because of new and evolving EPA mandates . These changes, due primarily to lower sulfur contents in order to minimize air pollutants, have generated some potential storage and performance issues. However, specific quality fuel additives have proven to overcome such adverse conditions by providing long-term storage stability, corrosion inhibition, burner efficiency optimization, and longer equipment life. Also, now that kerosene is no longer an option because of the high cost and limited availability of low sulfur K-1, additives are used to prevent gelling and icing.
To optimize fuel quality, we have already been adding, and will continue to add, TREAT NOW into all our home heating and off-road diesel fuels. This proven product, at no extra cost to you, helps to keep your furnace and/or equipment running smoothly and more efficiently. We have now partnered with C&S Scientific Corp., the producer of this additive and an industry leader in additive technology, to ensure that all our products and services are in sync with an ever-evolving fuel supply.
For our Pacific Pride customers, the diesel fuel contains additives that prevent injector nozzle coking and fouling, which minimizes clogging of fuel filters. It extends fuel quality with water and anti-rust/corrosion inhibition. This increases the overall fuel economy and prolongs engine life.
Edris Oil Service and C&S Scientific Corp. have developed a year-long specialty chemical program utilizing specific adjunct products designed to provide all the tools necessary to ensure continuous, efficient, and trouble free performance. For more information, check out the C&S Scientific Corp. website and then contact Tim at Edris Oil Service.
Remember, there are many advantages that additives provide to help reduce your costs and increase overall fuel economy. We do this to provide our customers with the best fuel at the most cost effective price. Today's fuels are not meeting the demands of current technologies. With additives, we can meet today's fuel needs.
Power Service is the additive we use for the diesel product at our Pacific Pride sites.

Summer Additive:

  • Is formulated with the most up-to-date chemical components developed to cope with the potential problems associated with today's straight and blended diesel fuels, especially ULSD. It's also subjected to the higher operating pressures and temperatures of new model vehicles.
  • Is especially effective in countering the increased formation of carbon deposits likely to occur in high pressure fuel injection (HPFI) systems.
  • Permits direct control of the additive by the fuel dealer or fleet operator rather than indirect control at the refiner, and is an effective and economical means of improving upon the limitations of a refinery product.
  • Is a concentrated composition of proven, highly active fuel conditioners, detergents, corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants, stabilizers, and water inhibitors, working together to effectively provide these critical functions:
    • Reduce high pressure injector nozzle coking and fouling
    • Suppress exhaust smoke, diesel emissions, and engine noise
    • Reduce sludge and sediment formation and deposition
    • Minimize blocking and clogging of filters and injectors
    • Maximize and extend fuel quality
    • Provide water and anti-rust/corrosion inhibition
    • Improve product stability and homogeneity
    • Increase overall fuel economy and prolong engine life

Complies with the 15 ppm federal low sulfur content requirements for use in motor vehicles diesel fuel.

Card Order Form

Driver Names

List Driver names (first & last) that would be using cards and a four (4) digit Pin number for each driver. No two pin numbers can be the same.

Vehicle Description

List how you want your vehicles to show on the management report. You may use letters and/or numbers. Ex; Truck 5890, Red Ford, 123D111, etc.

Product

List what product each card/vehicle is to be restricted to. If you are allowing all three grades of gas, just list "gas" as product. If you would like to only allow No-lead 87 Octane, list as "87 only". Or if you would like to have a card that would allow both 87 Octane and On Road Diesel (ULSD), list "87 & USLD only".

Tank Size

List what size tank each vehicle has and/or how many gallons you want to limit each fueling.Choice's are 20, 30, 50, 120, 250, these gallons are for each time they would card in.

Mileage and Misc Option

Another change has come from the EPA on the engine manufacturers. The EPA mandated that all engines must drastically decrease their emissions. Engine manufacturers accomplished this by dramatically increasing the injection pressure. This added pressure then breaks down the fuel and creates a by-product called asphaltene, which gets recirculated back to your tank and then caught by the fuel filter. The only solution to these issues are additives. The additives keep the fuel quality intact, and keep your engine performing at its peak. We have additives in the fuel at our Pacific Pride sites. Diesel that is delivered can be additized. Just let us know that you would like the additive. Please contact us to learn more about what product will suit your needs.
